Day Star Montessori

Thank you to our fire fighter neighbors from the Milpitas Fire Department Station 2 for visiting. The talk on fire safety was very informative and our students were so excited to see the fire truck and wear their very own fire fighter’s hat. We appreciate all that you do to keep our community safe!

We always look forward to Sharing Days, when our students proudly show their favorite works to their parents. What a wonderful way to create precious memories!

The weather was just perfect for our Spring Eggstravaganza. The students headed to the playground to collect Easter eggs, play games, get temporary tattoos, make crafts and have their photo taken. Thanks to the teachers and parent volunteers for making this event fun for the students.

Let’s spread love and kindness! Our students happily shared treats and cards to their friends in celebration of Valentine’s Day. They also made a family project where they talked about how they practice kindness at home.

“What did you do today?” Our parents got the answer to this question when they attended Sharing Day. With much excitement and pride, our students showed their favorite works to mom, dad, grandma and grandpa. The continent map, decimal system, moveable alphabet, stamp game, land and waterforms, dressing frames, cylinder blocks, pink tower, metal inset, reading cards, and geometric solids were just some of the many Montessori materials that were highlighted at this school event. Thank you for coming. We can’t wait for the next Sharing Day!

Let’s make the season merry and bright with colorful attire, warm sweaters, cozy pajamas, fun holiday accessories, hot chocolate and cookies! Happy Holidays!

Amazing animals like lions, tigers, hedgehog, ducks, bears, monkeys, rabbits and manybothers, roamed the school’s playground today as our students collected treats, played games and made crafts for Dress Up Day. Thank you to our teachers and parent volunteers for making this event so much fun.

Water fun is one of our favorite summer themes. With activities like water xylophone, rainbow crawl and water painting, our students explored different qualities of water. The week ended with Splash Day where we spent time outdoors doing water related activities such as water blasters, fishing, splash basketball, bubbles, etc. Refreshing lemonade was served to everyone as well. Thank you to our teachers, staff and parent volunteers who made the event a success!
