Why are sensory activities so important in preschool age children?

Hi Friends,

I am very excited with this new look! We have recently updated our daycare's equipments. The new cribs and new paneling for the infant/toddler area really lift the safety standards and are easy to clean especially during this time when sanitation is such an important thing. The acrylic mirror is my favorite as infants often look at it to explore the expression on their faces.

On the preschool side, new cubbies and storage cabinets were installed as well as the brand new whiteboard. Kids love it :-) when I give a lesson.
