PnC shares in the joy of celebrating these young actors in their nomination for the Rita Moreno Awards; for Lead Actress (Ariel in Lincoln High’s production of Little Mermaid); Lead Actor (Marius at Mitty Production of Les Miserable); Luke Bonner Supporting Actor (Van Buren of Damn Yankees).

The Rita Moreno awards is a competition that recognizes outstanding achievement in high school musical theater. The Lead Actor and Actress winners will be sent to the National High School Musical Theatre Awards (NHSMTA) – also known as the Jimmy™ Awards – in New York City, where they’ll perform on a Broadway stage before industry experts and compete for scholarship opportunities. Congratulations to all the nominees!!! This organization is near and dear to PnC as our very own Jayden Hope Fernando was given the opportunity to serve as the Student Reporter in 2025, which then enabled her to compete in the National level Student Reporter at the Jimmy’s. PnC is one of many,many supporters /mentors of these young performers in their Performing Arts journey.
