2023 Year In Review: Expanding Our Reach and Impact 2023 was a momentous year for BeCause! We strengthened bonds with our existing partner communities while also expanding our support to a new commune and successfully completing our 7th charity mission.

It's a wrap for our 2023 Charity Mission. It's so wonderful to end the year with such a rewarding experience. On the last day, we had a chance to visit Nhon Son Elementary School where we installed new computers for the computer lab, visited our existing library and playground, and handed out gifts to Ralay low-income students from their satellite location. The school principal and staff went out of their way to welcome our group and celebrate the computer lab opening with us. Sincerely thanks to our volunteers and sponsors for joining us on this mission and immersing in an interactive experience with the local students and teachers ❤️❤️❤️.

Our team just wrapped up the most incredible volunteering experience in Bac Ai, Ninh Thuan, where we had the privilege of spending time with the students across three elementary and middle schools with the majority coming from Ralay ethnic background. These amazing young people welcomed us with open arms and the brightest smiles, and together we embarked on a day filled with fun, learning, and cultural immersion.

Merry Christmas and Hello from Vietnam! Our BeCause team and volunteers spent our Christmas Day bringing joy and happiness to over 650 students at Bản Mù Elementary School. We had the best time meeting the students and teachers and learning more about their daily lives.

Congratulations to our champion, Lewis Readman, for completing his first full marathon while also crushing his fundraising goal for a computer lab in Yen Bai! We are very grateful for his commitment and would like to sincerely thank all of his friends and families for supporting his campaign!

📣📣📣 Check out our latest campaign led by Lewis Readman, a Senior Manager from Apollo English in Hanoi to raise 30mil VND for a computer lab that benefits minority students in the rural Yen Bai province. Inspired by his prior volunteer trip with Apollo English and BeCause , Lewis is returning to champion this project to help make education more accessible to low income students in the rural area of Vietnam. He is also running a full marathon for the first time to raise funds for this campaign, please support his effort and spread the word about his campaign. Thank you!

Ban Cong Elementary - Secondary Boarding School - » BeCause » Be The Cause For Hope Number of Students: 663 | 100% Low Income | 100% Minority  

Sneak peek at our recent site visit trips to Yen Bai and Ninh Thuan to survey our upcoming projects. When making a decision on which school to support, we not only look at the current conditions and the demographic statistics, we also deeply care about the school commitment to preserve and maintain our projects properly overtime. It takes dedication and commitment from the head of the school, their staff, as well as the local community.

Our local coordinators and country director, Trinh Huynh, recently visited Ban Mu Boarding Elementary School to deliver 50 gift packages to low income and minority students. This is a part of the Sponsor a Child program that we have been running for the past few years. The school staff has shared a heartfelt thank-you note to our donors for their contributions.

Thank you everyone for making this program a success and special thanks to our Regional Program Manager, Minh Hoai, for spearheading this impactful program.
