We had a dental presentation for chapel. The children practiced brushing teeth and learned about cavities and how to prevent them. Everyone was given a goody bag at the end of the presentation.

September was a good month. We stayed busy with seasonal themes, stem, getting to know new classmates and sharing experiences with one another. We are looking forward to assessments and more fall fun.

Starting school is not easy. The changes in environment and all the new faces is difficult for little ones. This transition takes time, patience, kindness and loads of love. Our newest student is doing well for her second week and we are seeing small steps in her willingness to try new things. She looks for her teachers and they are right there reassuring her to explore. We are so proud of her.

Early Childhood is when we instill necessary life skills. Yes, we focus on academics and skills to be successful in their educational journey. But more importantly, we want them to grow up to be good humans who care about others. It warmed my heart to see this child helping another student with her shoe without promoting. life skills.

Extended family are important. And having them nearby is a blessing. We honored Grandparents today with our little ones. Some are far away and others were not able to be here with us, but we held them close to our hearts and thanked them for being a part of our lives. We love you!❤️

Is you child struggling with TK? Are large class sizes overwhelming? Are they getting the attention and help they deserve? If you see signs of stress in your child, it may be time for a change. Consider Discoveryland as an option for your child. We have small class sizes where your child will receive one on one guidance. They will have the opportunity to catch up if they are behind. Our goal is to prepare them for Kindergarten by giving them all the tools and experiences for the next step in their educational journey. Our hours also give parents the freedom to work their full day without worrying about the daily early dismissals. We have a lot to offer. Give us a call while spaces are still available. We are taking advantage of the beautiful weather and took a nice walk to the park and picked apples from our apple tree. A change of scenery is so exciting for the kids!
