Our proposed session features Raising a Reader, National Association for Family, School, and Community Engagement, PowerMyLearning, and Collaborative for Student Success.

Together, we will explore how everyday family interactions can strengthen early literacy, math, and school readiness, and how organizations across sectors can help bring these supports to more families.

Over three years, Raising a Reader expanded its reach, strengthened its foundation and learned important lessons about sustainable growth.

Early literacy matters….donating your outgrown, gently-read, children’s books, to be given out for free, can pave the way to literacy, and
literacy is the path out of poverty. Free children’s books change the world, one book at a time, one child at a time.
What would Dolly do? She would/does give children free books! While we can’t all be a Dolly, we can all be like her … a book fairy gives away free books too.🤝
