Help us bring Read, Talk, Count: The Family Learning Equation to SXSW EDU 2027!

Our proposed session features Raising a Reader, National Association for Family, School, and Community Engagement, PowerMyLearning, and Collaborative for Student Success.

Together, we will explore how everyday family interactions can strengthen early literacy, math, and school readiness, and how organizations across sectors can help bring these supports to more families.

Parents Can Build Numeracy Skills at Home. These Governors Want Guidance on How 08/03/2026

We’re proud to join partners across the country in calling for greater support for family math at home.

Just as families play an essential role in building early literacy skills, everyday moments, counting, sorting, measuring and noticing patterns, can help children build confidence and find joy in math from an early age.

We love a little book mystery! 🩷📚

Thank you for being a book fairy and helping get books into little hands. We believe every loved book has a little magic left in it — one more storytime, one more snuggle, one more child falling in love with reading.

This is a donated board book. At first glance, I thought it was an older Raising Readers book, then I noticed the logo wasn’t the RR logo, then I noticed it actually said, Raising (A) Reader 🤔so I researched it…it is this:https://raisingareader.org/about/
Just FYI
Early literacy matters….donating your outgrown, gently-read, children’s books, to be given out for free, can pave the way to literacy, and
literacy is the path out of poverty. Free children’s books change the world, one book at a time, one child at a time.
What would Dolly do? She would/does give children free books! While we can’t all be a Dolly, we can all be like her … a book fairy gives away free books too.🤝
