Preschool Teachers: As you prepare for the new school year, explore classroom strategies that help build strong early literacy foundations.

Don't miss next week's conversation on how technology can best support teachers and enhance learning for ELLs in unique and powerful ways.

Includes our Executive Director Dr. Anya Hurwitz!

“Beyond translation features and additional lessons, multilingual learners need scaffolded instruction that meets them where they are. AI and tech tools can empower teachers and transform multilingual literacy learning — if they’re rooted in real classroom challenges and experience.” (Multilingual By Design)

Across the United States, English Language Learners (ELLs) represent more than 10% of the total K–12 population and nearly 15% of kindergartners. In some states and regions, the numbers are much larger. These learners face additional challenges in the classroom and in reading development. Well-designed technology tools, though, can support teachers' engagement with ELLs in ways that improve reading and other student outcomes.

Join us for the final webinar in CGLR’s Technology-Enhanced Teaching, Learning, and Development series as experts from Bilingual Generation , English Learners Success Forum, SEAL - Sobrato Early Academic Language, and Multilingual by design help us explore how thoughtfully designed technology can support teachers, strengthen multilingual literacy instruction, and help multilingual learners thrive.
