Not long ago we lost a friend, team mate, former piano and saxophone student. Like many of our students, Max became a excellent musician. And like my sons Jordan and Matthew, Max taught music and coached baseball. He was a teammate of Jordan and Mathew since grade school.

In honor of Max, his mom organized an event that would be something near and dear to Max's heart — helping the unfortunate.

In honor of today, I went to honor the fallen at the USS Arizona at Pearl Harbor. My favorite veterans are my dad, Uncle Rick, Uncle Chuck, Uncle Jan, Uncle Zardo, Uncle Dennis, and Uncle Don. I am proud to be their son or nephew.
