Thanks to everyone that braved the storms to come out to our FAA Hangar Talk Safety Seminar last night. A special thank you to our presenter, Vinnie Simeone. Vinnie gave a very informative talk about emergency scenarios and we had a great discussion about how to safely resolve those situations. From student pilots, to pilots with decades of experience, we all learned something.
We also recognized Dave Burton as he marked a milestone of being a pilot for 50 years. Dave has been a fixture at Millville Airport in many roles through the years and we extend a heartfelt congratulations to him!

We will dissect how these situations were resolved in real-time, focusing on emergency procedures, aeronautical decision making, and proper radio technique. Through open discussion, we will evaluate the effectiveness of the actions taken and brainstorm potential improvements that could enhance future responses.
