📵 IMPORTANT REMINDER FOR MT. PLEASANT FAMILIES!

As we get ready for the 2026–2027 school year, please take a moment to review our Bell-to-Bell Personal Device Expectations for students in Grades K–5.

🔔 What does “Bell-to-Bell” mean?

Personal internet-enabled devices—including cell phones, smartwatches, and tablets—must:

✅ Be powered OFF
✅ Be stored securely in the student's backpack or cubby
✅ Remain OFF and out of sight from the morning entry bell until the final dismissal bell

This includes arrival, instructional time, recess, lunch, transitions, and dismissal.

💻 Students will continue to use district-assigned Chromebooks/devices for educational purposes as directed by their teachers.

☀️ IMPORTANT UPDATE: PlayStreets Schedule Change for Tomorrow (July 15) ☀️

Due to the extreme heat forecast for tomorrow, we are adjusting our event hours to keep all of our families safe and cool!

📍 Where: Pine Street (between 2nd & 3rd)
⏰ NEW Hours: 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM (Ending one hour early)
💦 Beat the Heat: The fire hydrant will be opened at 12:00 PM to help everyone cool off!

Bring the whole family out for a great day of community fun, including:
