It’s been an amazing summer running shotgun at Rodney Scout Reservation. Spending so much time with scouts and scouters who could only be described as family. I’ll be returning next summer as the Range and Target Activities Director. Counting the days till I see you all again. I have Basic Shotgun, Rifle and RSO classes on the NRA Instructor site. Another great week at camp. Lots of completed shotgun merit badges. Open shoot is always popular. Several scouts new to shotgun looking to take it up when they get home, including a very impressive set of twins that were used to rifle shooting and took it hitting moving targets very naturally.

Back camp, back at my happy place in the range! A lot of program time was shut down yesterday due to lightning strikes in the area. Outside of weather just a friendly reminder for everyone to follow the Three Always Rules to maintain safety whenever you are around fi****ms (and archery equipment). This goes for at the range, at home and in the field. Happy shooting everyone.
