As we head back to school we have one more Montessori Minute for you! Independence isn’t created by one lesson, one material, or one carefully prepared shelf. It is cultivated every day in the way we encourage children to think, create, express themselves, make choices, solve problems, and lead.For Montessori educators, this means knowing when to guide and when to step aside. 🌟We’re looking for a joyful, bilingual educator to lead one day per week of immersive Spanish for our young leaners and also support classrooms as a teaching assistant. Bring songs, movement, stories, and a love of language! ♥️

✅Details
- Schedule: 1 day/week. Morning hours as a Teaching Assistant. Afternoon hours as a Spanish Teacher
- Location: 350 Village St, Millis, MA
- Pay: $25-40

✅You’re:
- Native or fluent in Spanish (or near‑native level)
- Energetic, patient, and child‑centered
- Experienced teaching young children (pre-k to 8th grade) or comfortable leading music/movement/storytime in Spanish
- Comfortable supporting classroom routines as a teaching assistant
- EEC and/or Montessori experience a plus (but not required)

✅What you’ll do:
- Lead engaging, age‑appropriate Spanish lessons using songs, games, books, and movement
- Foster vocabulary, cultural curiosity, and confident communication
- Support lead teachers with classroom routines, transitions, and small‑group work

🐣 A Truly Unforgettable Experience: Hatching Chickens

There is something magical about watching new life begin. In our early childhood environment, raising chickens offers children a hands-on connection to the life cycle, from incubation to hatching, bringing learning vividly to life.

Through this experience, children build rich vocabulary, practice careful observation, and develop early scientific thinking. Simple moments such as checking the incubator or candling eggs become powerful introductions to biology, embryology, and STEM learning. The learning was further supported by shelf activities in all areas of the curriculum.

Just as importantly, children learn to care for living things. They practice gentleness, patience, and empathy while taking responsibility for the well-being of the eggs.
