MERIT Millis Educational Resource Initiatives Team We provide important funding to teachers & administrators to enhance learning for Millis students M.E.R.I.T. The mission of M.E.R.I.T. Since 1991, M.E.R.I.T.

is a non-profit local education fund established in 1991 with the primary purpose of fostering excellence in Millis Public Schools. is to encourage innovative approaches to teaching approved curricula and to provide financial support to help implement the most promising approaches. solicits funding for programs not typically subsidized within the regular school budget. is run by volunteer communit

y members and teachers who raise money for the Millis Public Schools. Teachers from all three Millis schools make requests to M.E.R.I.T. for curriculum enhancing materials that promote creative and challenging learning programs for our kids. considers requests for which there are no other sources of education funding. M.E.R.I.T.’s funding comes from fundraising events and tax-deductible donations from the community. events, which include our signature Haunted Hayride at Tangerini’s Spring Street Farm, are designed to provide fun, engaging activities that give Millis residents the chance to socialize while raising money to support the best cause of all; our children and schools. has invested over $250,000 into enrichment programs that help Millis students get more from their public education!

MERIT is in need of any Halloween or spooky decorations we can use for our scare stations this year. If you're cleaning out/getting rid of any, we'd love to take them off your hands!
