What a day! Huge thank you to some of our daycare family, GiGi and Mrs. Morgan, for helping our babes make it to Milburn Orchards today! And a huge thank you to all my kiddos parents for letting us get out and have some fall fun! It’s always nice to see them enjoy some seasonal activities and snag some pumpkins! Some of these guys had their very first trip to a pumpkin patch today, how exciting!

Hello friends! It’s been a while since I’ve posted. I’ve been enjoying time with our newest bundle of joy in the family!

The daycare will have openings starting in September, so I am beginning to conduct interviews for full day spots for 2 and up, as well as before and after care for the bus for Galena school district. My full day kiddos enjoy plenty of time outside, a fun child led curriculum, with diapers/wipes/meals included in your cost of care!

Easter egg hunts are done!

We’re on to dandelion hunts! It is my FAVORITE time of year to take all of our circle time and day activities outside and make the most of what nature gives us!

I can’t wait to make dandelion jelly with these sweet babes! Wish us luck!

We started our bag gardens! The kids chose what seeds they wanted to put in their bags to plant later, and hopefully we’ll see them grow in the coming week! It’s our FAVORITE time of year!

This sassy babe turned 3 today! A birthday on St. Patty’s day may explain her unending s***k 🤣 but we wouldn’t have her any other way! Lucky to have great families. We hope she has a fabulous birthday weekend!

With the daycare expecting our very OWN baby (yes, Mrs. Rachel is expecting for those who didn’t yet know!) I have dialed down our big parties and crafts over the last few months. We still managed to celebrate Dr. Seuss’ birthday today! We made some Cat in the Hat necklaces and read the book to match!

We also made some night and day contrasting mobiles and discussed things that the sun/day and moon/night do for us as we prepare to move into a new season this month! Such as providing sunlight to grow plants and nourish our bodies, as well night time providing time to nourish the body with rest and prepare for all of their play time!

Right before our pizza went in the oven!

We do a lot of playing and learning, but we also do a lot of eating here! I had some assistance from little hands with our pizza dough and kneading it out! I’d say I had some pretty great help! We try to eat home made and natural foods as much as possible. I feel good serving it, and they seem happy eating it! Today was cheese pizza, carrots, watermelon, and yogurt!
