It’s Back to School Time! We can’t wait to see all of our new friends, and some old, lol, next Tuesday! (Anytime from 8:00am-9:00am-ish is perfect!)
I know you’re wondering…Do I have everything my child needs for the first day?

Here’s your checklist...I hope I haven't forgotten anything! Text me if you think of anything that may be missing!

___ALL PAPERWORK! 📋Sorry, I can't accept them without it. It’s an OCC rule for yor child’s safety. Check all signature spaces and just put it in their backpack!
___BIG backpack🎒 labeled w/ name...writing it inside is fine. Be sure to add a change of clothes to include un**es, a top, shorts, a dress and if needed, socks in a ziploc bag labeled with their name. You will change these as the seasons change.
___Lunchbox (labeled w/ name) include a healthy lunch with a protein, a fruit (NO SYRUP filled cups please) and something crunchy like pretzels/goldfish/veggie straws. Be sure to add an icepack if you’re packing yogurt, lunchmeat, cheese, etc. Please refrain from sending candy, sugary sweets and juice.)
***If you are sending a Bento type insert be sure to have them practice opening them independently.
___Metal-type water bottle (labeled w/ name). It will stay at school for snack/lunch/field trips.
___Medications listed on their Med. Admin. forms. These need their name and DOB printed on the bottle or box. Hand these to me when you arrive please!
___Soft snuggly nap mat🛏️ with an attached pillow and blanket labeled w/ name.
___Sunscreen🧴your child in the driveway or whenever is best for your family… just so it’s before they arrive.
Just an important note! PLEASE DO NOT KNOCK ON THE DOOR! Please tell all off and pick up people! My house🏠is your house 🏠(at least until 4:45! Haha!) so just come on in! I will be right there as I hear you come in! Drop off time needs to be short and sweet! Hug them, tell them to have a great day and head out! Will they cry😢? Some do and some don’t! I will take them from you in a hug and they will be just fine as they get busy with their friends! I’ve never had a child cry all day!
***Just a gentle FYI, mornings are not the best time to tell me anything important or have a big conversation. It makes it harder for parent/child separations and truly I won’t remember who told me what!!! LOL!😂 Instead, PLEASE text me and that way I am less likely to forget your important message!
___Send them in shoes👟and clothing (no hard jean snaps or buckles until they can do them on their own) they can take off and put on independently. Please refrain from sending them in flip flops. They just aren’t safe on the playset. Most wear something closed-toed like crocs with the strap around the ankle. Absolutely no tie shoes please! Velcro is perfect! though!
___An apple🍎for the teacher! JK!🤣 I can’t wait to see your apple dumpling though!❤️

I so appreciate the wonderful gifts received today (and some from after our Program in June I can't find pics of! 🤦🏽‍♀️They are all oh so sweet and thoughtful; with a 'If You Give A Teacher A Cookie' book loaded with goodies from 2 families with gift cards I used this summer! They were all heartfelt and made my heart smile! Most of my littles are now BIG enough for BIG SCHOOL, and they have left so many footprints on my heart! Thank you, my friends! I love you all and wish you all the very best! ❤️❤️❤️ Please stay in touch! I will be thinking about and praying for you as you journey through your next BIG adventures! As I wrote in someone's book: Be Strong and Courageous! Do not be terrified. Do not be discouraged. For the Lord, your God, will be with you wherever you go! Joshua 1:9

Our last week of summer fun was a full week of summer fun for sure! Shaving Cream Monday was 'SNOW'PENDOUS!!!! The Playseum in Easton was SO MUCH MORE THAN EPIC!!!! Ice cream and lunch at Storms & Daughters was SCRUMPTIOUS!!!! Our last summer movie at Westown was MARVELOUS!!!! Playing whatever we wanted yesterday was FABULOUS!!!! The Sudlersville Train Museum with Miss Sharon was TERRIFIC!!!! The Pizza Party at POSTO MIO was POSITIVELY PERFECT!!!! Our good-byes were bittersweet but we are all very excited for our next big adventure!!!!

We had so much fun at the Delaware State Fair! We saw Mr. Dave and so many beautiful animals! We loved seeing our own Carmella and Felicia, but we also enjoyed petting the big cow! Throughout the day we saw sheep, pigs, goats, TRACTORS, bunnies, ducks, geese, turkeys, and noisy roosters! We even saw some cool fish, horseshoe crabs, sea stars and a lsilver cheeked hornbill from Africa! To say we learned a lot is an understatement, and we also thoroughly loved meeting some seriously kind people throughout the day! We ended our beautiful adventure at Bylers in Harrington for some chocolate ice cream before our long summer's day nap on the way home! We are feeling blessed for sure! God is SO GOOD!❤️❤️❤️

With this beautiful weather we made a quick trip to Plumpton Park Zoo! We loved every single minute admiring these beautiful animals! We even got to have lunch with two peacocks! Enjoy the photos of a great trip!

🇺🇸Happy 4th of July Weekend to everyone! These little firecrackers had fun eating red, white and blue yummies, playing with paint and glitter to make fireworks, marching with our flags and reading 'Fourth of July Mice!' Enjoy! 🎇❤️🤍💙🇺🇸

Welcome these fresh 2026 Leap-n-Learn graduates! 🐸 Last night these children put on quite the show for all of their friends and families! They performed and sang their hearts out! ❤️ We couldn’t be happier for all of them and wish and pray for them the very best! 🙌🏻Congratulations! 🎉 Special thanks goes out to the families for the delicious meal and to the Dodd family for the scrumptious ice cream! Isiah’s Ice Cream is our favorite! 🍨 ❤️Thanks also for all the special hugs and gifts! I love you all! ❤️

We had so much fun baking and decorating cupcakes with Miss Helena! She came straight from Mickey's home in Florida and spent the afternoon with us! We loved every single minute! A HUGE THANK YOU to Miss Helena! We LOVE you! ❤️🧁❤️

Today is bittersweet as we say goodbye to our butterfly friends. We have watched them grow from a caterpillar into a chrysalis, and now full grown into the most beautiful butterflies! We sure have had fun naming them and taking care of them! We will miss you all!
