Easter changes everything!

On April 5, we invite you and your family to celebrate the risen Savior with us at Millington First. Together, we will worship, rejoice, and remember the hope we have because Jesus is alive!

“He is not here, for He has risen, just as He said.” — Matthew 28:6

Easter is more than a holiday. It is the declaration that sin has been defeated, death has been conquered, and new life is available to all who believe. Because He lives, we have hope. Because He lives, we have victory.

Join us for one of our two services at 8:30AM or 10:30AM as we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Invite a friend, bring your family, and come expectant for what God will do.

We are only a week and a half out from our Fall Instrumental Recitals and Ballet Peek Week! Please mark your calendars and join us in supporting our amazing students!

Instrumental Recitals will take place from 10 AM to 12 PM.

Ballet Peek Week begins at 2 PM and follow the schedule below:
Primary A1: 2:00-2:45
Primary A2: 2:45-3:30
Primary B: 3:30-4:15
(15-minute break)
Primary C1: 4:30-5:15
Primary C2: 5:15-6:00
Ballet 1: 6:00-7:00

It was amazing to have two of our students at MPAA, Celia Smith (Violin) and Adaleigh Smalley (Vocal), bless our Senior Adults at their Fall luncheon.

We are about to kick off week 5 of the Fall semester at MPAA! As you go to your lessons, practice at home, and use your gifts throughout the week for the growth of the Lord's Kingdom, remember that our refuge is found in no one else but the Lord God. He is our refuge and strength, and our gifts are not for us, but for His praise!

The psalmist says that his soul waits in silence. When we are scared, nervous, or upset, we often try to make sense of things in our heads. That usually makes us more anxious and afraid than before. We should do as the Psalm says and wait in silence. Waiting in silence means we stop thinking independently and lean on God's almighty glory and power. He is all-knowing, after all.

How can I be certain that I can rely on God for everything?

First, you can rely entirely on God because He saved you! You probably don't ever wonder if your parents love you. You know they do because they're your parents. God's love for us is so constant and unchanging that He saved us from our sins, and His love will never fade.

Second, He is our rock and fortress. A rock is complex and cannot be easily broken, while a fortress is meant to be secure and not easily broken into by the enemy. God's love and protection are so powerful that He is our rock and fortress, meaning we should never worry because we are safe in His hands.

When we place our trust and hope, we will not be shaken because we are safe and secure in the arms of God the Father.

The first two weeks of classes have been awesome! It’s been a blessing to see all of our students back on campus using their gifts to praise the Lord!
