Recently, we were honored to welcome Dakota, a local rodeo royalty attendant, who visited Mrs. Freehling's classroom for a special read-aloud session.

Our students were captivated as she shared a story about perseverance, finding your own cheer squad, and accepting others' natural talents - values that shine both in the arena and in our classrooms!

The admiration on their little faces said it all. Thank you to our special guest for taking time to inspire our young readers and showing them that leaders come in many forms! 🌟

Reading is always an adventure at Milliken Elementary!
