🎭 **Want to major or minor in Theatre Arts?**

Audition for **all shows** in Theatre Arts & Musical Theatre! Take classes in **movement, Meisner, acting for stage & screen, dance, period styles, design, theatre history**, and more. **Guest artists** join us every year to take your training to the next level.

Our majors this year have **passed initial auditions** and are currently **at the Southeastern Theatre Conference in Chattanooga, TN**, auditioning and interviewing for summer work! We don’t just train—you **get prepared to be hired**.

🌟 **STUDENT SPOTLIGHT: IAN HAAGEN**

Huge congratulations to **Ian Haagen**, our talented junior Theatre Arts major, who continues to shine behind the scenes and beyond! 👏✨

Ian has already built an impressive foundation in stage management and lighting design, most recently serving as Assistant Lighting Designer for **A Doll's House**. And now, he’s taking the next big step in his career! 🚀💡

We’re thrilled to announce that Ian has been hired as **Assistant to the Lighting Designer** for the Lees-McRae Summer Theatre season, including:
🎭 *Shrek the Musical*
🎆 *America 250*
🎤 **Sister Act**

From classroom to professional stages, Ian is proving that dedication, creativity, and passion pay off. 💪🌟

Student Spotlight: Rachel Schnatterly 🌟

Rachel Schnatterly is a senior Psychology major from Joppa, Maryland, and a treasured member of our Milligan theatre family.

This production marks Rachel’s fifth with the program. She has previously served as stage manager for The Importance of Being Earnest, Little Women, and Freaky Friday, showcasing her incredible leadership, organization, and dedication behind the scenes. This is also her second acting credit, following her performance in Peter Pan and Wendy, where she brought warmth and talent to the stage.

Rachel’s versatility, work ethic, and positive spirit have made a lasting impact on our department. Whether leading backstage or shining under the lights, she approaches every role with excellence and heart.

As she prepares to graduate, we are sad to see Rachel go—but so grateful we had one more show to celebrate her talents with her. She will be deeply missed, and we cannot wait to see all the amazing things she will accomplish next. 💙🎭
