🍽️ Ten years ago, a new chapter in campus dining began.

With the semester starting, we're looking back at the dining hall renovations that transformed this familiar gathering space a decade ago. While the campus dining hall may have changed, its purpose remains the same: bringing Marauders together to share meals, build friendships, and create memories between classes.

Here's to another semester of good food, great conversations, and new traditions. πŸ–€πŸ’›

πŸ›οΈ Every campus building has a story.
Wickersham Hall is named in honor of Dr. James Wickersham, a pioneer in teacher education who helped co-found the Millersville State Normal School and later served as the University's second president.
Originally opened in 1938 as the Wickersham Recitation Building, the building received a major renovation in 2006 and continues to be a cornerstone of campus today.
Whether you walked its halls or simply passed by, Wickersham remains an enduring part of Millersville's story.

Before the Student Memorial Center opened in 1971, students gathered in the Rat Race inside Dutcher Hall and later in the Old Library (now Biemesderfer Center). More than 50 years later, the SMC remains a place where generations of Marauders have met, connected, and made memories.

🚀 Think college projects are impressive? Try building a human-powered submarine.
Since 1988, Millersville students have designed, built, and raced submarines in national and international competitions. In 2003, their award-winning submarine, Redemption, earned third place for innovative design at the International Submarine Races.
Now that's taking hands-on learning to another level. 🌊
