Thanks to our generous community, the 20th Annual PMEF Charity Golf Scramble was a great success.
Today we are featuring photos of PMEF board members and golfers preparing for the big event.

PMEF is grateful to the Post Prom 2026 committee for their recent donation to PMEF. The donation was in appreciation of PMEF representatives offering a watercolor design activity for seniors at Post Prom in May.
PMEF Executive Director, Jan Mindish, and Emeritus Board member, Barb Hearn, managed to stay awake until 2:00 am to supervise the painting.

Today is our final post from the Senior Awards Ceremony for the Class of 2026.
It also includes 2 scholarships that were awarded at Commencement.

*The Rachel E. Miller Memorial Scholarship was presented to Chloe Wolf by Jan Mindish.

*Grant Bradburn and Ava Luciano received the Starrett Metzler Memorial Scholarship from Adam Hess and Cooper Lindsley.

*The Bree Taryn Caffey Memorial Scholarship was presented to Katelyn Breidenstein by Bree’s sister, Arielle Dunkle.

*Luke DeVinney received the Lee “Todd” Amigh Memorial Scholarship for environmental education from Joe Herman.

The following 2 awards were presented at Graduation. Both are endowed by the Penn Manor Alumni Association through PMEF.

*Diana Idrees received the Dr. D.L. Biemesderfer Award as the Class of 2026 Valedictorian.
*Maryam Alfayyadh received the Mary (Filling) Klemmer Award as the Class of 2026 Salutatorian

PMEF presented 80 scholarships, representing 109 awards, to over 106 seniors, totaling over $140,000.

*The Chris Shank Memorial Scholarship for Computer Science was presented by Jan Mindish to Tadan Greenawalt.

*Seth Gansner received the Sean Moore Memorial Scholarship for a student pursuing a career in the STEM field.

*The Hans Haverstick Memorial Scholarship for soccer was presented to Thomas Lebo and Adison Ulmer by Dianne Smith.

*Brian Martinez received the Kevin Smith Memorial Scholarship.

*The Megan Lynn Martin Memorial Scholarship was presented to Kayla Streets.

*Haillee Shearer received the Molly Curtis Memorial Scholarship for softball.

*The Craig S. Shyver Memorial Scholarship for music was presented to Janelle Evans.

*Richard Kemmer received the Mario-Angelo Russo Memorial Scholarship for music production from Dominic Russo.

*The PMAA Legacy scholarships were presented by Wendy Letavic to students whose parent(s) were Penn Manor alumni. Recipients were Lillian Rineer and Chase Vinson.
*The Class of 2018 scholarships were awarded to Alexandra Anderson and Gage Myers.
*Reagan Gerlach and Justin Onderdonk received the Class of 2023 scholarships.

*The Millersville Business Association Scholarship was awarded to Lily Howry.

*Em Hale received the Ashton’s Light Award, sponsored by the Lancaster County Community Foundation in memory of Ashton Clatterbuck and presented by Jan Mindish.

We are sharing a few more photos from the Senior class picnic, held after graduation practice on Tuesday.

*Wendy Letavic presented the Geist Family Citizenship Award to Maggie Rafter and Thomas Trussell.

*The Steve Jones Memorial Baseball Scholarship was presented to Oliver Hanna by Pat Kline.

*Dr Jan Mindish presented the Jack & Joanne Herr Scholarship to Abigail Harrington.

The first 2 were presented by Pat Kline.
*The Rintz Family Scholarship, funded by the Herk Rintz family, awards scholarships to 3 students who are furthering their education in a STEM field. Recipients were Sujit Ghimire, David Kirkley, IzEldeen Salem.

*Penn Manor Education Scholarships were presented to 4 students based on academic success & service to school/community. Recipients were Chloe Hook, Joelle Kroesen, Ben Leed, Ethan Markulik.

*Wendy Letavic presented the 6 Mrs Abner McLaughlin Houseknecht Memorial Scholarships to Abby Hilken, Haylee Musser, Aliya Stanley, Kalkidan Tolossa, Jia Jia Yang, Soksopia Yiem. These are students who worked hard to achieve success .

*Dr Jan Mindish presented her scholarships to 10 students based on academic success & service to school/community.
Recipients were Alanna Addy, Seth Barrett, Caroline Binkley, Tyler Cook, Melissa Nabiyeva, Edith Aldaz Sanchez, Paityn Smith, Jack Steele, Alayzha Twyman, Charlie Wood.
