Hey GHS '85 page fans, it's Meg - I'm thinking of creating a FB group for us and migrating away from this Page. The Page seems to be getting lots of spammy follows, and groups allow admins to control entry. Classmates, I thought you’d like to see the nice letter we received from the Literacy Council. It makes me happy to know our donation will pay for GED test fees that our sweet Dawn sometimes paid on behalf of her students.

Hi, it's me again - just a reminder, if you want to be included in a group donation from our class to the PeCo Literacy Council IMO Dawn Fisher Beaver, please Paypal or Venmo me, or mail me a check, by January 31. I'll send it all to them the first week of February. (Of course, you are also welcome to donate directly to the Council.)

I am planning on coming to Dawn's service Saturday (unless it's icy) and will look forward to seeing some of you there, despite the sad circumstances.

Friends, Dawn's family has shared that there will be a Visitation and Celebration of Life Service on Saturday, January 25th - visitation 9-11AM followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 11AM. Both will take place at Millerstown United Methodist Church. They're requesting donations to the PeCo Literacy Council in lieu of flowers - Julie and I thought it would be good to make a donation in her memory from the class of '85, so watch this space for a separate post with info on how to donate if you want to be included. -- meg

As some of you know by now, today our friend and classmate Dawn Fisher Beaver passed away after dealing with cancer and its complications. Please join me in wishing her high school sweetheart and husband Bryan , and her kids and family, peace and comfort as they mourn the loss of a beloved wife, mother, daughter and friend. 😢😢😢 we will post more info here once we receive it.
