🗓 Today is the last day to register for the Wild Harvest Academy. It is a day long event from 9am-4pm this Friday, August 28th.
Held at Tappan Lake Event Center (9500 Lakeville Dr, Mineral City) you will spend your day learning from experts about a variety of outdoor topics.

This weeks Holmes County Bargain Hunter article from Educator Janessa Hill discusses utilizing soil testing to get the most productivity and fertility out of your fields going in to fall. Janessa is available to help you interpret your results and/or for farm visits. Simply call in to the extension office 330-674-3015.
Also there are reminders for the AGNR newsletter sign up, as well as the hay and straw producer sign ups. The hay and straw data base is now available on the website.

Soil test results can help producers plan fertilizer, lime and forage renovations for pastures and hay fields.
