Our high school staff is excited to welcome all of our students back next Monday! Thank you to everyone who attended Open House and Seventh Grade Orientation this week. We’ve been working hard to get everything ready and can't wait to kick off an amazing year together. See you in the halls!

We will be having a 3 year old Pre-School class for the '26-'27 school.

Attention Miller Parents:

For the ’26-’27 school year we will potentially be having a 3-year-old Pre-School Class. The class will be the afternoon session (12:10-3:40 pm). Students must be 3 by August 1st and potty trained. If you would like to sign your child up please call 417.452.3512 before Thursday, August 20th to place them on the 3-year-old Pre-School list. If there are more interested students than available spots, the school will reach out to schedule a screening. Final placement will be based on need. If your 3-year-old already attending the screening in May then they are already placed on the list.

Two of our incredible district educators were recognized for outstanding leadership at last week’s Missouri Association for Career & Technical Education (MOACTE) conference:
Mrs. Christy Johnson received the Missouri Educators of Family & Consumer Sciences (MOEFCS) Roll of Honor Award! This peer-selected award honors exceptional leadership and excellence in the field. As part of this honor, MOEFCS will contribute funds in Mrs. Johnson’s name to support graduate student fellowships for future CTE leaders.
Mrs. Christina Stica received the Missouri Business Education Association (MBEA) New Teacher of the Year Award! This honor recognizes early-career teachers (1–4 years) who bring outstanding innovation and dedication to the classroom.
We are so proud to have these extraordinary educators in our district. Please join us in celebrating Mrs. Johnson and Mrs. Stica!

Two of our Junior High FBLA members, Jace Gossett and Jackariah Stica, competed last week at the FBLA National Leadership Conference. The event was held in San Antonio, Texas, and attracted more than 16,000 middle school and high school students. This event provided education, competition, and networking opportunities centered on business.

We are very proud of how well these two students represented Miller! Onward Cardinals!

We hope all of our Miller Cardinals are having a wonderful summer. Helpful Tip: Save the school calendar image on your phone to reference during the school year!
-The first day of school will be August 24, 2026.
-Open House for the Elementary will be August 20, 2026 from 3:30-6:30pm. Open House for the High School/Junior High is also August 20, 2026, but from 5:30-7:30pm.
-7th Grade Orientation will be August 19, 2026 from 5:30-7pm.
-New Student Enrollment will be available at the school your student will be attending and will be August 12, 2026 from 9am-4pm or August 13, 2026 from noon-6pm. You will need to bring proof of residency, birth certificate, social security card, and an immunization record for your student.
-As a reminder, our school secretaries will be out of the office until August 11, 2026, so phone calls will be returned after that time.
