Subject: Looking for candidates for UGA Tifton Web Programming Job
Good Morning,
We are anticipating hiring a web and mobile application programmer.
This position will be part of the Center for Invasive Species and Ecosystem Health at the University of Georgia's Tifton Campus. The Center for Invasive Species and Ecosystem Health develops, maintains and hosts 35 websites that received 200 million hits in the past year. The Bugwood Image Database System contains 150,000 images from 1,800 photographers. The Early Detection and Distribution Mapping System (EDDMapS) is a national repository for invasive species distribution information.
This position with serve as the assistant to the Center's Technology Director. It will be responsible for developing web based applications to interact with databases, including support the image database system, video database system and online mapping systems. They will also be responsible for the development of mobile applications for Android, iPhone and iPad platforms.
Salary is $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
The position will be located in Tifton Georgia on the University campus.
