Ethan Tavares, a graduating senior at BHS, was awarded the GaDOE Awards of Excellence for outstanding performance. As 1 out of 36 state winners, he was recognized out of 1.7 million eligible students for his continued growth showcasing his perseverance and resiliency. Ethan is a role model for determination and excellence!

Braves cadets donated some time to assist the community at the Morgan County Food Pantry, serving the people of Madison, GA, this past weekend.

The cadets of Baldwin High School Navy JROTC are proud to launch our Spring Fundraiser!

Our program is built on leadership, discipline, teamwork, and service — and this fundraiser will help provide the resources needed to continue developing strong, confident student leaders.

Funds raised will support important program needs such as:

⚓ Uniforms and equipment
🎯 Drill, academic, and leadership competition expenses
🚌 Travel costs for events and field trips
🏅 Awards, ceremonies, and special recognition events

Every contribution directly supports our cadets and helps create meaningful opportunities for growth, achievement, and service.

The tug-of-war tournament got pretty competitive as U.S. Army National Guardsman SFC Russell Connally joined us for some PT!

Shout out to our academic team for qualifying for the 2026 Brain Brawl Area Championships at Sprayberry High School in Marietta, and making it to the quarterfinal round. We didn’t win, but it was an awesome experience. Way to go, shipmates! 👏

Braves c/o 2024 and former NJROTC cadet, U.S. Army National Guardsman SPC Michelle Combs, was joined by U.S. Marine Corps Sgt. Micah Fortune, while paying us a visit to discuss Georgia Military College career opportunities after high school.

Huge congratulations goes out to former cadet Lucas Wooten, BHS c/o2024, who was recently promoted to Corporal (E-4) in the United States Marine Corps!
