YSA 2026 started today! Lab Safety training, American Chemical Society safety videos, OSHA guidelines, Safety Data Sheets, hazard pictograms, lab scavenger hunt and tour of instrumentation and labs! Let the fun begin! ππ

STEMing into the Community volunteer, Zach Taylor .2 graduated today with his Masters degree. We are so proud and excited to see where his next journey takes him! Thank you Zach for 5 amazing years of volunteering and community service to help us bring science to the community. We will miss you!

Shout-out to GCSU's Math Jeopardy Team for bringing home a FIRST place trophy for the third year in a row!
GCSU students attended and competed at the 2026 Annual Meeting of the Southeastern Section of the Mathematical Association of America. Special kudos to their faculty mentor, Rachel Epstein!
Fun fact: all members of the team are also student workers for GCSU's Learning Center!
