First home game, Trojans came away with a win over Bulloch Academy 35-23.

We had a school wide pep rally where faculty and students participated in multiple games! We introduced our Jr Pro football and cheer teams, Middle School softball, cheer, cross country, and football teams, and our Varsity Cross Country, Softball, Cheer and Football teams!

Prior to the game, we had our New Family Tailgate! We enjoyed a bounce house, corn hole, crafts, and socializing with teachers, board members, and friends. We enjoyed dinner from Dairylane and then cheered our Trojans on to a victory!

Mrs Walkers first grade class has been studying the complete metamorphosis of the butterfly 🦋.
Which includes growing and studying the passion flowers and vines which are the host plants for the caterpillars to form their chrysalis and our little Trojans to observe Gods magic at work!
From plant, to egg, to caterpillar, to chrysalis, and finally to butterfly - they have observed, absorbed, and documented it all!

Learning Life Skills at JMA!

Our new sophomore elective, Life Skills, is all about preparing our students for the real world! From learning how to tie a tie and write and mail a thank-you note to preparing a meal, our sophomores are gaining practical skills they’ll use long after they leave the JMA campus.

👏🏼 This morning, our varsity football players helped our mini Trojans get into school. They opened doors, gave out high fives, and cheered as these lower school students entered the building sharing the energy they have for our first home football game!!

📣 Our Head of School, Mr Simmons, is also full of Trojan Pride showing off his blue and gold outfit! We are joining in on the fun for a pep rally at 12:30 led by our cheerleaders!

🏈 Kickoff is tonight at Ted Smith Stadium at 7:30 vs Bulloch Academy Gators! Come be loud!!

This week they participated in a Gummy Bear Government project where they had to work in groups to visually represent different governments in the world. Some Gummy Bears may have been consumed during this project! 🧸
