ALUMNI SPOTLIGHT

Je’Mazin Roberts is a proud member of the John Milledge Academy Class of 2021. After graduating from JMA, he continued his education and football career at The Citadel, where he played Division I football and earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science.

Je’Mazin is currently continuing his education at The Citadel, where he is obtaining his Master’s in Business Administration. During his college journey, he also became a member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., which has been another meaningful part of his growth, brotherhood, and experience beyond the football field.

Since graduating from JMA, Je’Mazin has continued to accomplish meaningful things both on and off the field. In 2023, he became the author of the children’s book You Are Amazing, a book created to encourage young readers and remind them of their value. The following year, his journey of giving back continued with the establishment of the Je’Mazin Teshan Roberts Foundation in 2024. Through the foundation, students, student-athletes, families, and members of the local community are supported through scholarships, recognition programs, and outreach efforts.

In 2025, Je’Mazin was honored in his hometown with a Key to the City and Je’Mazin Roberts Day, recognizing his accomplishments and the positive impact he continues to have in the Milledgeville community.

As a JMA alumnus, college graduate, author, foundation inspiration, and current MBA student, Je’Mazin remains connected to the place that helped shape part of his journey. His family is proud of the way he continues to represent his hometown, his school, and the Trojan family.

Our Varsity Football team competed in a 7-on-7 at Georgia Southern today, and we love the growth we’re already seeing! 💪🏈

The work being put in now will pay off when the lights come on this fall. Friday nights are getting closer, and the Trojans are ready to keep building.

ALUMNI SPOTLIGHT

Morgan graduated from JMA in 2016, where she was a competitive shooter and helped lead her team to a state championship in 2013. She is also a three-time GISA Ladies State Champion and continues to compete today through the National Sporting Clays Association (NSCA).

She earned her bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from Georgia College & State University in 2019, then went on to graduate with honors from Emory University with her Master of Nursing in 2021.

Morgan began her nursing career in the Emergency Department of a Level I Trauma Center and was recently nominated for an award recognizing her contributions in emergency care. She currently works full-time in the ICU.

JV and Varsity Boys Basketball teams have been working! They attended GCSU camp this week and competed against some good teams then got to hang together by the pool. We love to see our student athletes working hard in the offseason!

ALUMNI SPOTLIGHT

Blair Stefano Wilkes
John Milledge Academy Class of 2018. Blair pursued her passion for caring for others by earning her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Augusta University.

Blair began her nursing career in emergency medicine at Atrium Health Navicent before transitioning into hospice care as a Registered Nurse Case Manager with Family Hospice, where she discovered a deep passion for providing compassionate, patient-centered care.

Today, Blair serves as a Clinical/Practice Manager for a growing private medical and aesthetics practice in Georgia, where she combines her clinical background with leadership and operations management. This July, she is excited to continue her education by returning to school to pursue her Family Nurse Practitioner degree.

Outside of her career, Blair is a proud wife to Austin and mama to her daughter, Saylor. During her time in college, she was involved in Alpha Delta Pi, Jag Elite Dance Team, Freedom Dance Club, and Delight Women’s Ministry — experiences and friendships that helped shape who she is today.

Blair’s journey is a reminder that growth often comes from embracing new opportunities while staying grounded in compassion, purpose, and service to others.
