First microplastics monitoring for from Champion Creek at Lake Laurel and Tobler Creek photos show filtration in progress for Champion Creek and results from Tobler Creek. There were a few microplastics, but not a lot! This newbie detected 7 fibers, 5 fragments, 5 microbeads (almost certain some of those were really organic), and 2 films in 1 liter of water. is really excited to try out a new monitoring technique that we learned about at Check back for future monitoring events offered monthly!
