Our students represented GCEC beautifully at the National NHD Competition. They presented their projects with confidence, connected with peers from across the country, traded pins, and had fun at the dance—but the best part was seeing how they supported one another. Awesome job, GCEC! 💙💚💙💚

Our rising juniors are making the most of their summer with enriching opportunities!

Fabian Martinez participated in the EarthCare 21st Century Summer Institute. This week-long residential program was hosted by the 21st Century Leader and Georgia Power. The program focused on STEM, environmental sustainability, and energy efficiency while highlighting professional and leadership skills.

The first photo is from a professional networking dinner, where he connected with a variety of professionals and even met the program’s executive director.

The second photo highlights a service project, where participants spent the day working on a local farm and giving back to the community.

We’re excited to share that Tamarion Wilkerson has just arrived at Morehouse College to participate in the SMASH (Summer Math and Science Honors) Academy.

SMASH at Morehouse is a rigorous, tuition-free, residential and virtual STEM and Computer Science program. Its mission is to increase diversity in tech by preparing young scholars for college-level success and careers in STEM.
