First-Year Application Update: GCSU’s fall 2027 first-year application will open on August 1 exclusively through the Common App – moving the application, essay and fee into one platform to simplify the process for future fall applicants. For the required essay, applicants will have the flexibility of choosing one of seven Common App essay prompts which now replaces the GCSU-specific essay. GCSU held our annual Research Day on Wednesday, giving students from all disciplines the opportunity to present creative projects and research alongside their peers.
