No matter how much they try to blame the previous administration, anyone with a fully developed frontal lobe can see that even he is admitting his tarrifs caused this in the first place, yet he wants a gratitude for this “fix”? It’s like thanking the guy who broke your nose when he drives you to the hospital.
Rebuilding the ground beef herd and LOWERING prices for the American people. 🇺🇸
Sundays event was such a good time with dogs and dems alike.
Huge shoutout to all the incredible candidates that are working hard everyday to get elected (or re elected).. which is when the real work will begin. :)

A wonderful WDC moment! 💙
While working the 801 Event on Harvey Milk Blvd, two of our members, Denise and Ally, had a serendipitous meeting and discovered they share something pretty special: both of their mothers were also WDC members!
It’s moments like this that remind us what makes WDC so special. For generations, our members have built friendships, served our community, and carried this organization forward.
Here’s to the connections we’ve made, and the generations of women who continue to make WDC what it is today. We can’t wait to see Denise and Ally at our next WDC luncheon in September! 💙

Now THAT is a lineup. Candidates from across the state joined us with their 4 legged friends for a relaxed afternoon at the park.
Less than 90 days til Election Day but as Lannie Chapman told us… less than 60 days til ballots are mailed. We are in the sprint. It’s time for all of us to get boots on the ground, or phones to our ears, or pens in our hands. Keep your eye out for volunteer opportunities. We are going to flip a whole bunch of seats!!!
Dogs with Dems is tomorrow! 4 pm at sunnyside park. Come have a hotdog while chatting with your fellow dems and their four legged friends. This is a great opportunity to meet candidates and find out how we can help get them across the finish line!

What if we spent a little less time arguing over political labels and a little more time asking a simple question:
What kind of community do we want to build, and what role should government play in getting us there?
I really appreciated this perspective from Dr. Ellen Brady published in The Salt Lake Tribune. At the end of the day, government should be about more than winning political arguments. It should be about whether our communities are safe, whether people can afford to live here, whether kids have access to a good education, and whether people have a fair opportunity to build a good life.

A Utah County jury decided the fate of a former Utah Senate candidate on Wednesday in a sexual abuse case that dragged on for years.
After deliberating for less than five hours, a jury made up of six women and two men found Brandon Beckham, 50, guilty on two felony counts of forcible sexual abuse.
According to charging documents, a woman reported a nonconsensual sexual encounter with Beckham to law enforcement in Pleasant Grove in June 2021.
