Hi All!

Here I am with my daughters at camp this summer. I am infinitely grateful for all the forest school memories we have created together since SMNS was founded 8 years ago.

Many of us in the US forest school movement founded our schools in part to create programs where we could teach these important philosophies alongside our own children. ☀️

While not always the easiest path, it’s been immensely rewarding.

Forest School Summer Camp is underway and we are keeping cool in the lovely shaded forest and flowing river.

We are making boats and lots of art, hiking, playing in the river and so much more!
