So excited for our new Mahjong class with Jara from Mahjongistas!

Our 4-week Beginner Series is designed to take you from “I have no idea what I’m doing” to confidently sitting down at the table and playing a game.

Mahjong has a bit of a learning curve, which is exactly why we love teaching it over four weeks. Each class builds on the last, giving you time to practice, ask questions, and really understand how the pieces fit together.

We’ll cover everything you need to build a strong foundation, including the tiles and National Mah Jongg League card, setting up and dealing, the Charleston, choosing and building a hand, game play and strategy, scoring, and table etiquette.

No experience needed. We’ll provide the tiles, cards, cheat sheets, and plenty of hands-on practice. Come ready to learn, play, laugh, and discover why we’re so hooked on Mahj.

4-week series | Beginner level | All materials provided
