Shout out to Nate Bergeron ’28! 🥍 He is an incoming Vth form lacrosse player and, at just 17, has been selected for Team Canada’s U-19 team after beating out 100+ players at in-person tryouts. Congratulations on this huge honor!

Nate will compete at the Brogden Cup in Maryland this fall against Team USA and Team Haudenosaunee. He’s honored to represent his country. Get ’em, Nate! 💪 (He's the one in white!)

Meet Your New Prefect: Hi! I'm Mesha Thomas '27. I'm from Manhattan, NY, and I serve as the treasurer for the Black Student Union (BSU). I love playing basketball with friends, ⛹🏾‍♂️ meeting new people, and listening to music. 🎧 My favorite part about Millbrook is definitely the beautiful scenery. You can't find views like this anywhere else! I encourage all new students to try new things because Millbrook is one of the best places to explore your interests. Can't wait to see everyone soon. Roll Stangs! 🐎🐎

Meet Your New Prefect: Hi! I am Lulu Abrahms '27. I am from Westchester, NY, and I serve as a dorm leader in Clark Hall! 😊 I love spending time with my friends on the quad, in the Barn, and in the dorms. 🏐🤸‍♀️☀️ I also love listening to music while walking school road! 🎶🎧 My advice to new students is to stay open and embrace all of Millbrook, because there are so many opportunities waiting for you! Cannot wait to see everyone soon! 🙌🙌

Ms. MacWright spent a week this summer learning Katazome, a Japanese printmaking process, with local artist Erina Schultz at Women's Studio Workshop. She learned the full process, which includes cutting stencils ✂️, cooking and applying rice-paste resist, and adding color with natural pigments drawn from plants and minerals 🌿.

👀 You'll be able to view her prints at our annual fall faculty exhibition, Confluence in the Warner Gallery.

KJ Pimentel '28 represented Puerto Rico 🇵🇷 at the 2026 C**t World Series in Marion, Illinois, starting every inning of all three games in left field. He finished the tournament with 6 stolen bases and 3 hits 🔥, and made an over-the-shoulder catch ⚾️ in the 8th inning of the team's game against Mexico that helped seal a 10-9 win in the 9th.

Way to represent, KJ. Proud of you and we can't wait to see what you accomplish this season!

Meet Your New Prefect: Hi, I'm Matt Brooks '27 from Seaford, New York. This year I'll be a dorm leader in the New Dorm and a captain of the varsity hockey team 🏒. I also play varsity lacrosse 🥍 and serve as a Millbrook Ambassador (tour guide). You can find me at the rink, in the gym, on the quad playing spikeball, or hanging out with the boys in the dorm 😎.

Meet Your New Prefect: Hi, I'm Georgia Withers-Clarke '27. I'm from Bermuda 🇧🇲, and I'm a four-year senior going into Abbott next year as a peer supporter. I play varsity field hockey 🏑, JV hockey, and JV lacrosse. I spend most of my time in the common room talking to anyone who walks in 💬. I started Just Dance Club with my best friends 👯‍♀️. I'm a curator at the zoo 🦦, and I'm in Millbrook Singers. I'm looking forward to late quad nights and long chats in the common room.

It was a great showing for Millbrook School riders last weekend!

Merritt Sheffield ’28 brought it all weekend at the Millbrook Horse Trials and finished 3rd in the Modified Division (3’6” fences) out of 20 riders. Competing against adults and professionals, she tackled three days of dressage, cross-country, and stadium. Way to go, Merritt!

And, at the FEI Eventing World Championship U25 event in Cork, Ireland, Jack Curtis '22 and his horse, Luska Candy Clover, placed an impressive sixth overall out of a tough international field. We are proud to see Jack representing the USA!
