Fourth grade, with the help of regular visits from 4H, is embarking on a journey around the world this school year! In a recent visit, the class learned about Honduras and they wrote a letter to another class of students in Honduras. The class in Honduras will practice their translation skills by translating their English letter into Spanish!

Fourth grade also enjoyed a Safe-T-Opolis presentation from Alabama Power! They were so excited to receive ear buds in cute little cases from Alabama Power that they left them a thank you video.

We had our October theme day last week—Wear Pink—in honor of those continuing the fight against breast cancer and those who have lost their fight. It always reminds us of our sweet teacher, Mrs. Vetter, who we still dearly miss. Thinking of her always!! 💗

Our 9th grade Biology students have been learning about diatoms—microscopic, single-celled algae with intricate, glass-like cell walls that come in many beautiful shapes and patterns. 🔬 They used these fascinating organisms as inspiration to create their own colorful diatom art on poster boards! 🎨

Our new addition is only 2.5 months away from completion 🤞, so our 11th and 12th grade Bible class came out and prayed over the building and left their “mark” all over. It was so encouraging to see the Bible verses and prayers they left on floors, venting, framing, etc.

The drinks were enjoyed by all!!! Thank you so much Hwy 14 Nutrition for giving back to the community in this way; you are an encouragement to those you serve!

We are so proud of two of our students, Cooper and Carson, for taking the initiative to start a Discipleship Bible Study! It is such an encouragement to see our students not only growing in their own faith, but also wanting to encourage and help other students grow in theirs. We love seeing our students step up, take the lead, and use what God has given them to make a difference in the lives of others.
