Millbrook Child Development Program Welcome to Millbrook Child Development Program. We are so pleased that you decided to consider our program for your child.

As you can see, Elmore County has many wonderful things to offer for preschool ages 2 -5 years old. We have experienced teachers that are here to prepare your child for a wonderful future with educational learning and lot's of fun. Children will be given breakfast, lunch and afternoon snack. They may bring lunch from home or order lunch through the lunchroom. Our After school program consist of g

rades Kindergarten - 6th. We provide homework assistance and a nutritional snack each day. Our after school program will implement a component in our program,catch kids , this program focuses on healthy living, with good nutrition and adequate physical activity each day. We are currently accepting registration for ages 2 - 4 year old preschool students for the school year 2020 -2021

Parents of MCDP Extended Day
It is with mixed emotions that I announce my retirement from my position as Program Director at Millbrook Child Development Program. My last day will be September 19, 2023.
It has been an honor to be a part of this program and to work with such wonderful people , students and parents who I have grown to love and respect.

I am grateful for the opportunities that I have had during my 20 + years of service with Millbrook Child Development Program. I have enjoyed my time here, but I feel that it is time for me to begin the next chapter of my life.

Mrs. Daphne McClendon (Guidance Counselor) at Coosada Elementary has been chosen as the new Afterschool Director, she will be on campus each day in the event that you will need her assistance. she can be reached at 334-285-0273, staff Ms. Jacobia, Mrs., Cecelia, Miss Tyeisha and Miss Josie will continue to be in place each day as usual in addition Mrs. Linda and Mrs. Teresa will be present on the day when Elmore County schools are closed and the Extended Day Program is open.

Parents, when picking up your after school child tomorrow at Coosada Elementary. Come to the side of the school for car riders and you will see the welcome sign by the door entrance.
Students from Airport Road and Millbrook Middle School will ride bus 18-55 to Extended Day

Thank you to everyone for the wonderful support that was extended to Millbrook Child Development Program over the last 30+ years. There have been many relationships formed that will never end. It is our hope and trust that this program will forever be in your mind and heart.
Mrs. Sarah Ann Mccartha was an awesome program director for many years thank you for all of your hugs , love and sacrifice. For the last 16 years Mrs Cynthia Smoke has served as program director, with Mrs. Linda Robinson as Assistant Director for a short period of time.
This place has been a home to thousands of children and with sadness these doors has closed, but because of the love shown many have opened.
