The purpose of our page is to provide an online community for parents and families at Mill Valley School District. Our goal is to share information and tips, update the community on events and programs, and showcase the achievements of students, teachers, parents, and other community members. Community Rules

+ Any inflammatory statements that make allegations against individuals or organizations will be deleted.
+ Keep in mind what you post is public information.
+ Any advertising for businesses is not allowed.
+ Do not publish content as your own that has been created by others. MVSD Facebook administrators reserve the right to delete comments and block users who are not following the rules stated above.

✨ Did you know? Every student is entitled to one free breakfast and one free lunch each school day. We encourage students to take advantage of these healthy, delicious meals to help fuel learning, focus, and success throughout the day.

Revolution Foods serves fresh, nutritious, kid-friendly meals made with high-quality ingredients. Menus are thoughtfully designed with balanced options that students can enjoy throughout the school year.

💚 And families have nothing extra to do!
No accounts to create. No meals to pre-order. No forms to submit. Students simply choose from the set menu each day.

🌟 Food allergies?
If your student has food allergies documented in Aeries, an allergen-friendly menu is available. Please verify your student’s allergy information during Data Confirmation. Need help updating it? Contact your school site’s Administrative Assistant.

🍽️ One less thing for families to worry about: MVSD places the meal orders directly with Revolution Foods—you do not need to place an order!

Laying the Groundwork for the Future!

Trustee Nakatani, Superintendent Kaufman, and District Office staff recently toured the Middle School construction site to see the exciting progress firsthand! 🚧👷

Phase 1 is officially underway as we prepare the campus for interim housing during construction. This important milestone marks the beginning of the transformation that will create an even better learning environment for our students and staff.

A groundbreaking moment for the future of learning! 🎉🏗️

On June 18th, we celebrated the groundbreaking of the Mill Valley Middle School Modernization Project—an exciting milestone in creating a campus designed to inspire generations of students.

We were honored to celebrate alongside community leaders, including Board President Natalie Katz, Mayor Max Perrey, and County Supervisor Stephanie Moulton Peters, as we marked this significant investment in the future of our students and schools.

Construction of the interim campus is now underway, bringing us one step closer to modern, innovative learning spaces that will support students for years to come.

Our young engineers wrapped up the year by taking their coding skills to the next level!

Over the last month of school, students explored the Ozoblockly Editor to program their miniature Ozobot robots, putting a year's worth of STEAM learning into action. Using advanced coding concepts like loops and conditionals, they successfully tackled a series of exciting challenges and demonstrated impressive problem-solving skills.

The grand finale? A full-class 🎶🤖 Ozobot Disco Dance 🤖🎶 where all of the robots grooved together at the same time! It was a fun, creative, and rewarding celebration of an incredible year of innovation, collaboration, and learning. Thank you Katie Fisher for sharing this story.

This achievement recognizes the extraordinary efforts of our students, staff, and parent volunteers, who work every day to create a culture of sustainability and Zero Waste on our campus.
