North Bridge Academy
North Bridge Academy is a non-profit school with the mission to educate high functioning dyslexic children. Located in downtown Mill Valley, CA we serve Marin and surrounding Bay Area communities. Currently, we serve 52 students grades 2-8.
North Bridge Academy is founded on the belief that dyslexic learners can learn the same material as their non-dyslexic counterparts, they just learn it differently. Often dyslexic students are capable of levels of achievement they previously have not been able to demonstrate. Grounded in these beliefs, we have set out to establish a school to teach dyslexic students in ways they were meant to learn by using multi-sensory, sequential, phonics-based instruction tailored to meet their individual learning profiles. Class sizes will be small and students will be supported by teachers with specialized credentials.
