It’s Throwback Thursday, and no one said the throwback couldn’t be just last month! But in case you missed it, at last month’s Mill Valley Fall Arts Festival, students from Photo, Ceramics and Draw/Paint had work displayed. The Festival also gives scholarships to high school juniors and seniors each year, and this year, five current or recent grads from Tam High won — Sullivan Gilmore, Bo Levinson, Peter MacDonald, Matthew Murphy and Stella Jordan — all were recognized at an events artist reception during the festival. Thank you, THF donors, for helping fund the arts at Tam High! Tam High Foundation Patrons of the Arts at Tam High

What they thought would take two weeks turned into an entire summer … and hundreds of hours of painting!

Tam student artists transformed the walls of THF Wellness into a lasting work of art, with Sullivan Gillmore, founder of the Tam Art & Design Club, alone logging roughly 250 hours.

Sullivan says the project was a reflection of just how much Tam has encouraged and supported young artists. “We are all dedicated artists and have been extremely lucky and grateful for the opportunities we have been given through Tam,” he says.

A huge thank-you to these talented students for leaving something beautiful behind for future generations of Tam students and faculty.

And thank YOU, THF donors. Your donations provided the paint and supplies that helped turn their vision — and all those hours of work — into something that will be part of Tam for years to come.

This is your support at work. ❤️

Tam High Foundation hosted a great parent/admin coffee last week. You missed it? Well, it was more of a forum with a heavy discussion about AI policies in the district (a meaty subject for today’s climes!). There was also a valuable give and take between parents and Principal Pasarow — with Pasarow literally taking notes on the parent feedback and promising a follow up. Want your questions addressed? Don’t miss opportunities like these! Look for more from THF as the year progresses! And thank you to Equator Coffees !

Shout out to our 10th graders at Tam High for winning the Boba Spirit Week Challenge! As a class, they had the best spirit and attendance during the first week of school. The Boba was paid for as part of a ‘Positive School Climate’ grant, designed to create belonging at our school, which THF is delighted to be able to fund. We’re able to support this, and so many other grants and programs, all thanks to your donations! tamhighfoundation.org/donate Tam High

Meet two of the newest faces on the Tam High Foundation Board: Secretary, Elana Neiner, and Treasurer, Andy Cohen!

Elana brings her organizational leadership skills and enthusiasm for supporting Tam, while Andy, a longtime MVSD parent of three daughters, is passionate about strengthening our local schools and helping Tam navigate today’s financial challenges.

We’re excited to have them both on board and grateful for their commitment to our Tam community!

Parents across all grades are welcome to join us on September 24 from 8:45-9:45am in the Student Center to meet Principal Pasarow and the Tam admin team to learn more about site and District priorities and what is happening on campus in the coming months. It’s a great opportunity to ask questions and provide feedback, with coffee and breakfast bites hosted by THF. Learn more about this event and other THF events at tamhighfoundation.org/events.

We know that many of our 12th graders have started work on their college applications and that this can be an expensive process. Thanks to our generous donors, the Tam High Foundation is able to provide a grant of $10,000 to the Tam College and Career Center to provide financial assistance to students who need application aid. Please visit the center for more information. Thank you donors! 👏Tam College and Career Center
