Kiddo! Mill Valley Schools Community Foundation Kiddo! funds – art, music, drama, poetry, dance, and technology for more than 2,300 students in the TK-8 Mill Valley public schools.

Kiddo!, the Mill Valley Schools Community Foundation, is a non-profit 501(c3) organization made up of parents, teachers, business people, and active members of the community who, since 1982, have raised tens of millions of dollars to supplement our limited school budgets. We fund vital programs and teachers at our five elementary schools and middle school – including art, music, drama, poetry, dance, P.E., technology, teacher grants, classroom aides and library aides.

WHAT A DAY! ❤️💛

Mill Valley showed up BIG for Kiddo! Day, celebrating 45 years of supporting our schools, and together, we reached our $1 MILLION goal!

But we’re not stopping here! With nearly $2.5 million to raise each year to fund vital programs in our schools, we’re just getting started.

Let’s keep this incredible momentum going! Here’s to 45 years, $1 million, and a community that never stops showing up for our kids!

THANK YOU, MILL VALLEY! ❤️💛

Dance is more than just movement. It builds confidence. Creativity. Connection. And the courage to express yourself! From first steps to final performances, Kiddo! is proud to power – and fund – dance education in Mill Valley’s public schools, giving students a chance to explore different styles, discover new cultures and experience the joy of moving together. Because every child deserves a chance to shine…on and off the dance floor. !

Part of what Kiddo! funds each year is currriculum-based drama. A particular favorite in 5th grade is “Walk through the Revolution,” which enacts everything from Crispus Attucks to Paul Revere to Ben Franklin. Quite fitting for America’s 250th year!

Drama is more than performing. It builds confidence. Creativity. Courage. And a place to belong. Kiddo! is proud to power — and fund — the Mill Valley Middle School’s Cabaret, along with all the other drama performances throughout the year: the drama elective at MVMS, Shakespearience, 2nd grade musical, Walk through the Revolution, Word for Wors, 6th grade Greek Mythology, and the new 2nd and 3rd grade myth makers/Greek and Roman Mythology. Whew! Try to say that three times fast! 😉
