Kiddo! Mill Valley Schools Community Foundation Kiddo! funds – art, music, drama, poetry, dance, and technology for more than 2,300 students in the TK-8 Mill Valley public schools.

Kiddo!, the Mill Valley Schools Community Foundation, is a non-profit 501(c3) organization made up of parents, teachers, business people, and active members of the community who, since 1982, have raised tens of millions of dollars to supplement our limited school budgets. We fund vital programs and teachers at our five elementary schools and middle school – including art, music, drama, poetry, dance, P.E., technology, teacher grants, classroom aides and library aides.

As the morning school bells ring across Mill Valley, we’re sending so much love and excitement to all of our students, teachers, and staff embarking on a brand-new school year!

For 45 years, generations of local families, grandparents, businesses, and neighbors have come together with a shared purpose: ensuring our kids receive a complete, vibrant education. Because of this community's deep legacy of support, our students step into classrooms today filled with art, music, hands-on STEM, counseling, and specialized educators.

Join us on Thursday, September 3rd at 7:00 PM (right after Elementary Back-to-School Night) for our annual Kiddo! Parent Party at Sweetwater Music Hall! 🎸🥁

Get ready to dance the night away with the incredible DJ CAMS. All MVSD parents are invited to come out, catch up with old friends, meet new families, and celebrate the start of a brand-new school year together. 🥳🥂
