🍋 A Backyard Discovery Turned Learning Adventure! 🍋

When our students stumbled upon a beautiful lemon tree in our new school’s backyard, their excitement was contagious! 🌿✨ Each child eagerly picked a lemon to share with their family, sparking conversations about nature, flavors, and traditions.

The taste test was a moment to remember—some embraced the tangy surprise with a cheerful “yummy!”, while others giggled at the sour twist. But the fun didn’t stop there! Our young learners got creative, shaping playdough lemons that soon transformed into lemon cakes, lollipops, and even lemon juice. 🍋🎨

This simple discovery became an exploration of senses, creativity, and connection—a perfect reminder that learning happens in the most unexpected moments. 💛

Terra Marin Preschool is Marin County’s ONLY Mandarin immersion, nature-based, Reggio-Emelia-inspired program for children 18 months to 4.5 years old.

Summer is for outdoor adventures! Our Earth Discovery campers have been having a blast exploring local beaches, parks, and forests. They are developing social emotional skills while learning about plants and animals, building structures and shelters with natural materials, and creating games and stories.

Happy Summer Solstice! ☀️ To celebrate, we're excited to share a NEW summer camp offering with you: Bilingual Spanish Immersion Earth Discovery camp in Marin for younger children ages 3-5! Back for 2024 by popular demand, this summer camp blends our award-winning outdoor, Earth Discovery camp with our Reggio-inspired Spanish Immersion programming. Campers will learn to read, speak, and sing in Spanish while exploring local green spaces and beaches. Camp is offered in 1-week sessions from June 24th - August 16th (no camp July 1-5).

Please note that all 3-year-olds WILL have the opportunity for a nap, and they must be potty trained.
