We were honored to welcome the CIRC Directors’ Group to Mill Valley Nursery School for their final gathering of the school year. 💚

Educators from across the Bay Area came together to connect, reflect, and learn from one another through the shared values of the Reggio Emilia approach—listening, collaboration, curiosity, and community.

Our Director, Maria Allis, was proud to open the doors to MVNS and share our campus while exchanging ideas with fellow early childhood leaders who are passionate about creating meaningful learning experiences for children and families.

✨ Meet Michele, our Lead Teacher at Mill Valley Nursery School! 💚

Michele brings a wealth of experience to MVNS, including six wonderful years as a teacher at Mighty Bambinis Nature Preschool. With a Master’s in Early Childhood Education, a background in psychology, and a passion for movement, mindfulness, and play-based learning, she creates joyful, nurturing environments where children thrive.

As an MVNS alumni parent, local coach, and active community volunteer, Michele truly understands what makes our school so special. We can’t wait for our families to get to know her this year!

With more than 30 years of experience in early childhood education, Maria brings a deep commitment to play-based, child-centered learning and building strong partnerships with families. She holds a Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education and has spent her career supporting children in inclusive, community-centered educational settings.

Maria’s approach celebrates every child’s unique strengths, cultures, and curiosity while creating joyful learning experiences that inspire confidence and a lifelong love of learning.

As a proud mother, grandmother, and longtime Marin County resident, Maria is honored to lead the MVNS community. We are so excited for our families to get to know her and the warmth, wisdom, and passion she brings to our school!
