Attn Families:
ProcareSolutions, the company through which you made tuition payments, has been breached. Please see their official announcement below:
Valued Tuition Express Customer,
Procare has been notified by TSYS, our payment services partner, that there has been an issue impacting some Procare customers. This TSYS issue is affecting a small population of our Procare customers, and is also impacting other TSYS customers. We are notifying you in case you or your families are seeing occurrences of double charges for tuition. Procare is diligently working directly with TSYS to understand the full scope of their system issue, in addition to obtaining a complete list of impacted customers so we can proactively work to assist families and centers.
If any of your families have reached out to your center indicating they were double charged, this is likely due to the TSYS system error. We are actively working with TSYS to process refunds back to the impacted individual cards as quickly as possible.
Additionally, if any of your families incur additional fees related to this issue, please contact Tuition Express Support at 888-419-5033 or email [email protected] and these fees will be reimbursed.
We will continue to update you as we receive more information. Thank you for your patience during this time.
Thank you,
Tuition Express Payment Operations

This is right up the road from us and is very humbling. Everyone will have a lot to say about a preschool/child care center closing so abruptly but I want to share this with a different idea.
We are in an impossible time, whether you are in childcare or not. Most of us have been presented with the choice of our career or our health. With all of the openings in work-from-home careers right now, a privately owned childcare center is not going to be able to compete with higher wages other places can provide, even when they desire to, without dramatically raising parent costs.
If you entered the world of Early Childhood Education, I’m going to assume—nah, know—that you did not enter that world for money. However, we are now in a world where people need to be compensated correctly for continuously putting themselves and their family in the face (literally, the face-have you worked with a 2 year old lately?) of COVID 19.
At our center, we have teachers who are doing double duty in multiple classrooms. We have high level administrators/owners teaching full time in classrooms (and doing most of their admin jobs at home “off the clock”.)
We are stressed. We are dropping plates. We are rescheduling doctors appointments for our own families due to not being appropriately staffed.
Anyone who is working in any industry and isn’t feeling the weight of this pandemic is probably lying.
Lifting y’all up in community support as I know how gut wrenching this morning must be. And I just want the internet to remember that you only see one side of every story. ❤️
If your children are in daycare, a childcare center or preschool, or shoot—school in general, make sure their teachers know how much you appreciate them. At this point in the pandemic, it’s crucial.
Dear Families:
It is with great sorrow we are writing this letter to inform you that The Children’s Garden will be permanently closing its doors as of August 23, 2021. We wish we could have given greater notice of this decision so you could find alternate care and/or transportation. However, chronic absences among current staff has led us to make this difficult decision. These circumstances have dictated that we can no longer provide quality services to you and your children. Due to the lack of finding a sufficient number of highly qualified and reliable employees, we simply cannot guarantee consistent care. We sincerely regret that this will cause hardship for many of our families.
Any items your child has left behind can be picked up, missed/approval voucher swipes can be done, refunds for prepayments can be collected, and final payments can be made at the daycare from
6:00-9:00AM and 3:00-6:00PM on the following dates:
• Mon., Aug. 23
• Weds., Aug. 25
• Fri., Aug. 27
MacKenzie and Brittany will be there to assist parents. Any items not picked up by Fri., Aug. 27 at 6:00PM will be donated.
It has been a pleasure serving our families over the past eight years. We truly appreciate our loyal clients and employees more than we can express. We wish you and your children the very best in the future!
If you have any additional questions, please feel free to call Bill at (513) 709-6934.
Kindest regards,
Bill and Karrie Bird
