We had so much fun celebrating the Week of The Young Child 2023 this week. We started the week off by making music. We took our band on foot and showed the other classes how loud we could get! We may or may not have interrupted Miss Jill's yoga class. On Tuesday we all enjoyed making our very own pizzas for lunch. Yummy!! Wednesday and Thursday we worked together making our very own artsy t-shirts. For Family Friday we ended our week celebrating one of our friends' family holidays called Holi. Holi is a festival of colors and boy did we have fun. What a cool holiday to take part in.

May started off with a couple of fun days! Monday we celebrated Ukulele Day by all taking turns making music with one. The kids loved hearing the music they were creating. Tuesday was Wear Two Different Colored Shoes day. The kids loved showing off their shoes! Wednesday was Star Wars day. May the 4th be with you. The rest of the week we spent working on our Mother's Day projects! We can't wait for our moms to get them!

We started off the month of April with the Week of The Young Child. We had so much fun with all the different days. We spent Music Monday making music and dancing to our own beat. On Tasty Tuesday we made rainbows out of froot loops. Some kids brought in recipes to share with the school. The kids loved tasting their masterpieces. On Work Together Wednesdays we joined forces building with blocks and making shirts. Artsy Thursday we made friendship bracelets and quilts. We also celebrated with a pizza party. We ended with Family Friday learning all about our families!

Last week it was all about Dr. Suess! We had so much fun during our themed days. We wore crazy socks and funny hats. We dressed as wacky as we could on Wednesday! We ended our week making and eating greens eggs and ham!! The kids loved them!
