Today, our Milford High School staff helped us kick off Wednesday Windows of Opportunity by representing colleges, careers, and post-secondary pathways that have been part of their own journeys!

Every Wednesday, our staff will have the opportunity to wear apparel representing:

🎓 Education — Colleges, universities, trade schools, and other educational programs
💼 Employment — Careers, businesses, and workforce opportunities
🇺🇸 Enlistment — Military branches and service opportunities

By sharing the experiences and pathways of our own staff, we hope to help our students see that there is more than one road to success and countless opportunities waiting for them after graduation.

🎉 Freshman Orientation Day Was a HUGE Success! 🎉

Today, we welcomed our newest Bucs to Milford High School—and what a day it was! From finding their first-period classrooms to exploring our Club & Athletics Fair and receiving their electronic devices, our freshmen jumped right in and made themselves at home!

We heard from so many students and parents about how supported and welcomed they felt throughout the day, with over a hundred of our incoming freshman class in attendance.

A huge thank you to our teachers, staff, coaches, and Athletic Director for helping our freshmen feel like they belong here from day one. And to the parents who brought their students out today — thank you for being there and for trusting us with this exciting first step. Your support means everything!

We can't wait to see what this class accomplishes over the next four years!

FRESHMAN ORIENTATION IS ALMOST HERE!

Milford High School is excited to welcome the Class of 2030 to Buc Nation! This Friday, our incoming freshmen will have the opportunity to connect with their new school, explore opportunities, meet members of our school community, and prepare for a successful start to the year.

EARLY PARKING PASS PICKUP IS HERE! 🚗

Milford High School students who have completed the Parking Pass Google Form can pick up their parking passes early before the school year gets underway!

⚠️ IMPORTANT REMINDERS:

Students must complete the Parking Pass Google Form before picking up a parking pass. If the form has not been completed, a parking pass cannot be issued.

👉 Haven’t completed the Parking Pass Google Form yet? Click the link in the comments below to complete it before coming to pick up your pass!

🚗 Please also remember that student parking spaces are not individually assigned. There are no specific numbered parking spots designated to individual students.

We encourage eligible student drivers to take advantage of early pickup and get one more thing checked off the back-to-school list! ✅

BUCCANEER SHOUTOUT: AUTUMN DENN!

Milford High School is proud to recognize Autumn Denn, who serves as the Student Representative to the Milford School District Board of Education.

In this important role, Autumn represents Milford High School and helps bring the student voice and perspective to the district level.

Recently, Autumn had the opportunity to present to the Milford School District Board of Education, sharing more about herself, her involvement at Milford High School, and her commitment to leadership and service.

During her presentation, Autumn shared:

“One of my main goals throughout high school has been to embrace new opportunities and challenge myself to grow. I have been fortunate to participate in numerous clubs and activities, maintain one of the highest GPAs in my grade, complete nearly 100 hours of community service, and currently serve as President of the National Honor Society.

I am passionate about using the opportunities I have been given to serve and make a positive difference for others. It is truly an honor to represent the students of Milford High School and serve as a voice for students across our district.”

Autumn’s commitment to academic excellence, leadership, service, and involvement is a wonderful example of Buccaneer Pride. We are proud to have her representing Milford High School and using her voice to advocate for students throughout our district.

Congratulations to Molly Masten, Senior, Milford High School, who earned First Team All-State honors in Division I last season for the Buccaneers!

Now she’s up for Preseason Field Hockey Player of the Year, presented by Delaware Orthopaedic Specialists!

Let’s show Molly some Milford pride and get those votes in!
