Today was such a special day for the Saint Mary 6th grade art classes! Mrs. Cordero had the honor of welcoming her talented friend & Guest Speaker, Carl Faruolo. Carl is a well known Animator, Producer & Voice Actor who grew up in Milford & now resides on the west coast. Carl created the Nickelodeon animated short-film digital series Bug Salad. He is also the voice of Grenda from Disneyās Gravity Falls, and Stuart from Netflixās Oddballs. What a treat it was to hear about his creative journey & to learn more about his career in animation!
Carl was funny, engaging, and inspirational. The students came prepared with such thoughtful & insightful questions, and the discussion that followed was both meaningful and incredibly engaging. Experiences like this truly bring art to life and show students the many exciting paths creativity can lead to. So grateful for the time he shared with us today. We thank you, Carl!
