Hello Dear ABBC Families!
I hope this email finds you all healthy and safe. It’s been a long 5 months since our abrupt good byes, but yesterday my licensing consultant visited and approved the lower level for childcare. I was hoping to open on August 24 and even though it was very close…we made it! There are still a few little things that I need to finish up, but I’m so ready to open up and get back to some kind of normalcy! I’m just having a soft open and inviting my prior clientele before I open up to others. New hours are Monday - Friday, 9am - 4pm. Drop in care only at this time. Prices range depending on age from $7-$9 hourly and $5 for each additional older child on same day care.
There will be changes due to additional licensing rules and regulations. My consultant is sending additional information, as soon as I receive that I will produce an addendum for the new protocols. Changes will include drop off and and pick up procedures, cleanliness and sanitizing procedures, symptom checklist, procedures for covid symptoms, etc. I am mandated to wear a mask, the children are not.
We are living in crazy times my friends! If we have not already discussed your child(ren) returning please let me know what your plans are, if you have any right now! There are no wrong answers. It takes a village now more than ever.
