What does it mean to find a place where you're known, challenged, and supported? In her reflection, valedictorian Kate Jones '26 shares how Lauralton became more than a school, it became home.

What made you feel at home at Lauralton?

“Everyone was just… everyone.” 💙

In her graduation address, valedictorian Kate Jones ’26 reflected on what made her four years at Lauralton unlike anything she expected — a small but mighty class of 56, teachers who knew her name, and a community where no girl was ever defined by just one thing.

We’re honored to share Kate’s reflection, adapted for our blog, as she heads off to the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Congratulations, Kate — and to the entire Class of 2026!

📣 Save the Date: Alumnae Weekend 2026! 💙

We can't wait to welcome our alumnae home on September 26–27 for a weekend celebrating the lifelong bonds of the Lauralton Hall sisterhood.

The weekend will feature the 2026 Athletic Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony, honoring this year's outstanding inductees, and conclude with our beloved Golden Girls Luncheon, including a special pinning ceremony for the Class of 1976.

More details and registration information are coming soon, but for now, mark your calendars—we can't wait to celebrate with you!

Cheers to 35 years! 🥂💙

The Class of 1991 gathered at Anchor Social in Milford on Friday, June 26, for an evening of reconnecting, reminiscing, and celebrating the friendships that began at Lauralton Hall. It's always special to see our alumnae come together and prove that while the years may pass, the bonds of sisterhood remain as strong as ever.

Here's to lifelong friendships and many more opportunities to reconnect! 💙✨

Since the early 2000s, Lauralton graduates have made their way down the Mansion’s spiral staircase—a beautiful symbol of reflection, transition, and tradition. Welcomed at the bottom by alumnae, the Class of 2026 was reminded that they are forever part of something larger: a sisterhood that spans generations.

Traditions like these make Lauralton home. ✨
