Today 8th graders went outside with Mrs.Scott, Mrs. Bartow, and Mr. Burnett to search for arrowheads in the newly disrupted dirt on school property. The students are studying Native Americans in Social Studies class. While no huge treasures were found today, students found possible pieces of arrowheads and a lot of material that could be used to make them.

Tomorrow morning we finally get to welcome our younger Panthers back to campus to begin their new school year! Please be patient and kind as we continue to work out the kinks of our new drop off and pick-up area. We are working very hard to make it as efficient as possible. Tomorrow will be another first for all of us. Student safety is our first priority.

Please do not pull into the new staff parking area between the middle and elementary buildings to drop off or pick up your child. The south entrance to campus is for staff and buses only.

So many thanks to our wonderful middle/high school PTO for providing our staffs with lunch today! We can’t even explain how nice it is to not have to worry about packing a lunch on the first day with kids!! Thank you so much!!! Joni Ashcraft Orders

The Night Before School Starts

’Twas the night before school, and across Panther land,
Teachers are excited and ready to strike up the band!

The classrooms are ready, the schedules are too,
Or at least we’re pretending there’s nothing left to do.

The pencils are sharpened, the supplies are all new,
And tomorrow we’ll hear, “Wait…what class are you?”

Sixth graders are nervous, eighth graders are cool,
And seventh graders…well, they know what to do.

So set those alarms and get some good sleep,
Tomorrow we’re back with our favorite peeps.

With laughter and chaos and backpacks unpacked…

It’s finally time to welcome our Panthers Back to the Pack!

We’re very excited to see everyone tomorrow morning for the first day of the 26/27 school year!

Please make sure to go over the drop off/pick up changes that Mrs. Chapman sent out via ParentSquare this afternoon. All drop offs enter campus at the north entrance and travel the new access road. The south entrance is for staff and buses only.
