Today, on the 25th anniversary of September 11, we remember the lives lost, honor the courage and sacrifice of first responders, and reflect on the way communities came together in the days that followed.
Last night, MCC student-athletes joined members of the Miles City Special Olympics team and community volunteers to put that spirit of service into action, assembling nearly 100 gift bags for local first responders, which were delivered today.
The project was a chance to work side by side, build connections, and give back to those who serve our community every day.
One MCC student summed up the evening perfectly: “Just like 9/11 brought people out to support each other, my favorite part of the event was how it brought us all together.”
Today, we remember, and we are grateful for those who continue to serve.
